FRISCO, TEXAS — FC Dallas finally gave their home fans something to celebrate.
On Saturday’s ‘90s Night at Toyota Stadium, Dallas rolled to a 3-0 shutout of St. Louis CITY SC behind goals from Kaick and a brace from striker Petar Musa. It marked just the club’s second home win this season.
Midfielder Kaick—nicknamed “Pitbull”—opened the scoring in the 24th minute with his first MLS goal. Sebastian Lletget notched the secondary assist on the play, his 50th career MLS assist and 18th since joining Dallas.
From there, it was the Petar Musa show. The Croatian striker struck twice, recording his second straight multi-goal match. Musa now leads the club with 11 goals on the season and 27 total over his first two years—a record start for any player in FC Dallas history.
“It’s always nice to score goals, but for me more importantly, we got those three points in front of our home fans,” said Musa postmatch. “In the last couple of games we didn’t perform to our best ability, but we put in the work and I’m proud of this team tonight. We deserved to win.”
Captain Maarten Paes delivered a solid night in goal, securing his third clean sheet of the season with two saves.
Head coach Eric Quill emphasized the bigger picture.
“We owed this to our fans,” Quill said. “Tonight wasn’t just about soccer—it was about giving people a reason to cheer after some tough weeks. This team showed heart.”
FC Dallas extended its sellout streak to 27 matches, with 11,004 fans packing the stadium.
Next, Dallas (6-10-7, 25 points) hosts New York City FC on Friday, July 25 at 7:30 p.m. CT.
