FRISCO, TEXAS — The NFL has officially released the 2025 regular season schedule, and the Dallas Cowboys are once again in the national spotlight. America’s Team is set to make at least eight national television appearances, including six primetime matchups — three of which will take place under the lights at AT&T Stadium.
Dallas will open the season on the road in Philadelphia on Thursday, Sept. 4, marking the third consecutive season opener away from home. The Cowboys return to Arlington in Week 2 to host the New York Giants in the franchise’s 1,000th regular season game.
The Cowboys’ slate includes nine games against 2024 playoff teams such as Kansas City, Detroit, Green Bay, Philadelphia (twice), and the Chargers, setting the stage for one of the toughest schedules in the league. The highly anticipated Thanksgiving Day game will feature a showdown with the Chiefs, while a Christmas Day matchup on Netflix against Washington adds another layer of holiday drama.
Dallas will appear twice on Monday Night Football, potentially tying Miami for the most MNF appearances in NFL history (89). A road trip to the New York Jets fulfills this year’s 17th game, aligning with the AFC East same-place finisher format.
With marquee games, historic milestones, and heavyweight opponents on the docket, the 2025 season promises to be must-watch from start to finish.
