DALLAS, TEXAS — Dallas Trinity FC (9-5-6, 33 points) secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over DC Power FC (3-10-6, 15 points) on Wednesday night at the Cotton Bowl Stadium, with 2,284 fans in attendance. Midfielder Chioma Ubogagu’s stunning 23rd-minute free kick proved to be the difference, as Dallas controlled the tempo and locked down defensively.
Goalkeeper Madison White recorded her league-leading eighth clean sheet of the season, commanding the backline and making crucial stops to preserve the win. Dallas dominated offensively, outshooting DC 18-7 (5-2 on target), and remains unbeaten in their season series (1-0-2).
“Tonight was hugely important to bounce back after a disappointing performance. The team showed great resilience and discipline,” said Head Coach Pauline MacDonald.
