Rangers Open 2025 Season Against Red Sox

ARLINGTON, TEXAS — The Texas Rangers begin their 2025 MLB season against the Boston Red Sox on Opening Day, March 27, at Globe Life Field. Texas is looking to rebound from a 78-84 record in 2024, with new addition Joc Pederson boosting their lineup. Fans also anticipate Jacob deGrom’s return from injury.

Nathan Eovaldi, a former Red Sox pitcher, gets the Opening Day start for Texas, while Boston counters with newly acquired ace Garrett Crochet. The Red Sox have also added Alex Bregman and plan to debut top prospects this season.

First pitch is set for 3:05 p.m. CT.
