FC Dallas Falls to Vancouver Whitecaps FC 1-0

FRISCO, Texas – FC Dallas (1-2-1, 4 points) fell 1-0 to Vancouver Whitecaps FC (4-0-0, 12 points) at Toyota Stadium on Saturday night, struggling to find rhythm against an undefeated Vancouver side.

Dallas extended its sellout streak to 19 consecutive home matches, with 11,004 fans in attendance. Defender Lalas Abubakar made his club debut, providing defensive stability.

Vancouver secured the win in the 58th minute when Brian White capitalized on a defensive lapse. FC Dallas head coach Eric Quill acknowledged his team’s struggles in possession.

“We couldn’t find good rhythm with the ball,” Quill said. “We wanted to have long spells of possession. Credit to Vancouver; they didn’t look like a team that played Wednesday.”
