Mavericks Dominate Wizards, 130-108, with Historic Shooting Night

DALLAS, TEXAS — The Dallas Mavericks swept the Washington Wizards for the second straight season, winning 130-108. Dallas extended their winning streak against Washington to four games, a feat last accomplished in the 2017-18 season.

The Mavericks drained 20 three-pointers, tying their second-highest total this season and becoming only the second team in NBA history to hit 20 threes in consecutive games against the Wizards in the same season. Dallas is now 3-0 this season and 36-8 all-time when making 20+ threes in a game.

Dallas built a commanding 73-43 halftime lead, their largest margin of the season, fueled by 13 first-half three-pointers, their most in any half this year. The team remains unbeaten (6-0) when scoring 130+ points this season.

Key performances included Olivier-Maxence Prosper, who tied his career-high with 20 points, and Klay Thompson, who hit seven threes in the first quarter, tying a franchise record. Daniel Gafford shined against his former team, posting 18 points, eight rebounds (six offensive), and five blocks, extending his streak of games with a block to 19.

The Mavericks’ balanced effort and elite shooting continue to cement their dominance as they push forward this season
