SMU Hosts Georgia Tech for First ACC Matchup

DALLAS, TEXAS — SMU faces Georgia Tech on Saturday at Moody Coliseum in their first meeting as ACC opponents and 15th overall. The teams last met in 1986 in Tokyo, Japan.

The Mustangs (11-4, 2-2 ACC) are strong at home (7-2) and average 84.1 points per game, second in the ACC. Boopie Miller leads with 15.3 points and 5.7 assists per game, while Matt Cross contributes 10.9 points and 8.4 rebounds.

Georgia Tech (8-6, 1-3 ACC) will aim to rebound after three straight conference losses. SMU’s defense and rebounding advantage (+7.6 margin) could play a key role.
