TCU Finishes Regular Season Strong With 49-21 Win Over Cincinnati

TCU (8-4, 6-3) closed the season with a 49-21 win over Cincinnati, marking three straight victories and five wins in the last six games. The Horned Frogs, led by head coach Sonny Dykes, have reached eight wins for the third time since 2015.

  • Savion Williams scored two rushing TDs, giving him six this season.
  • Jack Bech became the fourth TCU player with a 1,000-yard receiving season (1,034 yards).
  • Channing Canada grabbed his first career interception, while Markis Deal recorded three tackles for loss.
  • Ethan Craw hit a career-best 65-yard punt, pinning Cincinnati inside the 6-yard line three times.

TCU also extended its scoring streak to 406 games, the second-longest in NCAA history.

Morgan Alexander is an Upstate New York native who moved an hour south to attend college. She graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Communications and a minor in Political Science in 2019. She then went on to receive her masters in Broadcast Digital Journalism with a sports communication emphasis from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. After her masters, she returned for a sixth year at Syracuse and received a Certificate of Advanced Study in Intercollegiate Athletic Advising.
