SMU RB Jaylan Knighton Named To The Doak Walker Award Watch List

DALLAS, TEXAS — SMU graduate student Jaylan Knighton has been named to the Doak Walker Award watch list by the PwC SMU Athletic Forum. The award recognizes the nation’s most outstanding collegiate running back.

Knighton led the Mustangs in rushing last season and has earned several preseason accolades. The recipient of the 2024 Doak Walker Award will be announced on December 12, 2024.

Vernon Hadnot is the Owner, Director, Editor and Producer of D210SPORTS. D210SPORTS became the first Texas independent producer to contribute programming to Spectrum Sports in 2010 and currently airs on Spectrum Cable Channel 15.
