Dallas Mavericks Defuse Houston Rockets In OT, 147-136

DALLAS, TEXAS — Dante Exum hit the game-tying 3-pointer to send the Mavericks to their first overtime game of the season as the Dallas Mavericks beat the Houston Rockets in overtime 147-136, despite trailing by 22 points in the second quarter. The 22-point comeback tied for the seventh-largest comeback in franchise history for the Mavericks and the 11th time that the team has overcome a 22-or-more-point deficit.

Kyrie Irving recorded 48 points (15-25 FG, 3-8 3FG, 15-17 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and a steal.

P.J. Washington Jr. recorded 14 points (5-12 FG, 2-7 3FG, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists and two blocks.
