Dallas Mavericks (32-31) Fall To The Indiana Pacers (28-35), 124-122

DALLAS, TEXAS — With a lot of ups and downs, twists and turns, the Dallas Mavericks fought til the very end but were not able to finish. The Indiana Pacers defeated the Mavericks 124-122. This now makes the Mavs 32-31 so far this season.

Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers with 32 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. Luka Doncic led all scorers with 39 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists.

The Mavs were 0-of-6 from the field, with five of the six attempts coming from the three point line. For only eight of the seconds in that final 2:30 were the Mavericks down by three or more points. Some of the shots looked promising with tons of quality open looks, but others were the result of frantic passing around the ball or settling for less and just attempting any shot.

When asked what the team could do to play better defense Doncic stated, “he didn’t know. That’s the major question were all wanting answers too.”

The Mavs will be back at home this Thursday night to take on the Philadelphia 76ers. Early tip off will be at 6:30pm C/T.
