Luka Dončić Has Another Triple-Double As Mavericks Beat The Rockets, 129-114

DALLAS, Texas — Another win for Dallas! The Dallas Mavericks were able to lock in a win at home over the Houston Rockets with a final score of 129-114. This was the last home game at the American Airlines Center before heading into the New year.

Luka Doncic, who recorded the NBA’s first game in history to complete 60 points, 21 rebounds, to go with 10 assists on Tuesday against the New York Knicks, he then came back to lead the Mavs with 35 points, 12 rebounds, and 13 assists against the Rockets Thursday night. Not only did he clench the triple-double on Tuesday with his 10th assist, he did it again against Houston, giving him consecutive triple-doubles twice this season.

After the game center Dwight Powell stated his thoughts about the Mavericks as of now being on their 5th game winning streak. Powell, ”we are staying connected, we trust each other, we are also holding each other accountable.” Powell, who had a solid night himself, came off the bench playing a total of 21 minutes and scoring 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 assist. He has shown he is a clutch member of this team and can make a huge impact at any time.
Dallas will hit the road one more time to take on the San Antonio Spurs on New Years Eve before closing out the year, 2022.
