Mavericks vs Nuggets Preview

DENVER, CO – The Dallas Mavericks (3-1) will head to Denver Colorado to take on the Denver Nuggets (2-2) and tip off is scheduled for 9 PM CST. 

The Mavericks came back from a 20-point deficit in the first half to the San Antonio’s Spurs on Thursday night. Dallas rolled away with a 104-99 win. 

The Mavs bench has been the talk of the town early this season. The bench has really produced in the last three games for Dallas. They have been led by Jalen Brunson and Reggie Bullock. 

Luka Doncic has led all Mavs in scoring this season scoring 20 points or more in the last two games. 

Denver has lost two in a row. The first loss was to the Cleveland Cavs and the second to the Utah Jazz. 

Reigning MVP Nikola Jokic left the game early with a sprained ankle. It is TBD if he will be playing tonight against the Mavs. 

The Mavericks won the series 3-2 last year against the Nuggets. 

In those games Doncic averaged 31 points, eight rebounds, and 13 assists.
