Buechele Big Day As Mustangs Blow Pass UNT 65-35

DENTON, TEXAS — SMU Quarterback Shane Buechele was 24-33 passing for 344 yards with 4 Touchdown tossed plus 5-29 rushing with a TD as the Mustangs defeated UNT 65-35 on Saturday night.

Ulysses Bentley IV was 19-227 rushing with 3 TDs. Bentley IV had an 84-yard TD run (7th longest in SMU history; first run of at least 80 yards since 2002 (Kris Briggs 96-yd TD vs Tulsa). SMU had 4 players with at least 100 all-purpose yards.

Wideout Reggie Roberson finished with nine receptions for 103 yards and Sophmore Rashee Rice had five catches for 102 yards.
