Grizzlies Out Play Mavericks

DALLAS, TEXAS — The game was tied at 71 with 6:05 left in the third quarter before the Grizzlies went on a 24-3 run with the help of four consecutive three-pointers at the end of the run to push themselves into a 95-74 lead with two minutes left in the quarter. Memphis extended its lead to 22 by the end of the third quarter and defeated the Mavericks 121-107.

Memphis was led by rookie Ja Morant, who finished with 21 points on 10-12 shooting to go with 3 assists.• Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. and guard Tyus Jones added 19 points apiece for Memphis, who saw 6 players finish in double figures.

Mavericks forward Kristaps Porzingis finished with 32 points and 12 rebounds, marking his third-straight game with 30+ points and 10+ rebounds. This marks the longest such streak in his career. He became the fourth Maverick since the turn of the century to do so, joining Luka Dončić, Dirk Nowitzki and Josh Howard.
