Wings Held In Check Despite Furious Comeback

ARLINGTON, Texas – The Dallas Wings’ (10-21) comeback fell just short, as they dropped a 91-85 contest to the Washington Mystics (23-8) Saturday. Rookie Arike Ogunbowale continued her scoring assault on the league with a game-high 30 points.

Ogunbowale has recorded 543 points during her rookie campaign, tying Elena Delle Donne for tenth most by a rookie.

The Wings travel to Connecticut next for a 6 p.m. tip off against the Sun on Wednesday, Sept 4.
