FC Dallas Defeats Los Angeles Galaxy 2-0

FRISCO, Tx — FC Dallas gets their first win of the season with a 2-0 victory against the LA Galaxy. It was a scoreless first half with many missed opportunities however Reto Ziegler was able to get Dallas on the board with a penalty kick in the 53rd minute.

Paxton Pomykal made his first start of the season with an assist to Bryan Acosta for a goal in the 61st minute. Coach Gonzalez says he’s really proud with how much this team has grown from the last game.

FC Dallas will hit the road to take on the Columbus Crew Saturday March 16th. Kick off is set for 1pm.

Karissa Valadez graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism. Born in Dallas, Texas, Karissa grew up watching all of her favorite local sports teams and also played a variety of sports since the age of five.
