FC Dallas Season Ends 2-1

FRISCO, Texas — FC Dallas’ season comes to an end with a 2-1 defeat to the Portland Timbers in the knockout round of the playoffs.

Diego Valeri put the Timbers on the board with a free kick in 22nd minute and later doubled the lead in the 71st minute while playing with one man down.

Dallas had a late goal by Matt Hedges in the 94th minute however it wasn’t enough to beat Portland.

Coach Pareja says overall the team played well and aggressive in the first half.

The Timbers will move onto the Western Conference Semifinals where they will face either Seattle or Sporting Kansas City. As for FC Dallas, they will now enter the offseason with plenty of questions to answer.
