WR Brice Butler Is Back In Dallas

FRISCO, Texas – The Dallas Cowboys re-signed wide receiver Brice Butler. He took to Instagram to announce his return to Dallas, “ Wow, never thought this would go down, but God’s will always wins! Dallas y’all ready to make this thing happen? I’m back! “

During Butler’s 36 games with the Cowboys from 2015-2017 he recorded 43 receptions for 794 yards.

QB Dak Prescott remarked on his return via Dallas Morning News “ He is a guy that I’ve been comfortable with the last two years. I know what he can offer. He can stretch the defense deep, can run over the top, and he’s a great route runner. “

The two had chemistry in the past and Butler will be a familiar face in the receiving core for Prescott to target. Dak knows his speed on routes and he will be an additional weapon in the Cowboys’ passing game. Butler is familiar with Dallas’ offensive scheme and will make a smooth transition. He will have the opportunity of growth under Sanjay Lal’s leadership.

Today Butler stated in the locker-room “I feel like I can do what he (Lal) wants in his groove…. Hopefully whatever I can do for this team to the best of my ability. ”

He joked that the Cowboys’ playbook is like an “ old girlfriend: I know what she likes and what she doesn’t. “

Welcome back to Dallas Brice Butler and best of luck moving forward!
