Rachel graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, where she was a member of the Golden Lions Women’s Volleyball Team. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama, where she interned for the Athletic Compliance Office.
Rachel’s love for sports began at early age, especially growing up in a family full of athletes. She played a variety of sports, including basketball, flag football, and running track, before focusing solely on volleyball.
In recent years, she was represented Colleyville, Arlington, and Dallas County at the Miss Texas USA Pageant (2017-2019), placing as a Top 15 finalist all three years.
After taking a brief hiatus from the sports world, Rachel joins the D210SPORTS team as a reporter. She is excited to honing her interviewing skills, while also returning to her first love, sports.
