FORT WORTH, TX — Sarah Strong delivered a breakout performance, leading the UConn Huskies women’s basketball to a 70-52 win over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish women’s basketball at Dickies Arena.

Strong finished with 21 points, 7 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 assists, dominating both ends as UConn pulled away in the second half.

She was named Most Outstanding Player of the region as UConn advances to the Final Four with momentum and a rising star leading the way. 🔥
