FORT WORTH, Texas — The wait is over for TCU.
When the NCAA Tournament bracket was revealed Sunday, the Horned Frogs secured their place in March Madness and now turn their attention to a first-round matchup against Ohio State on Thursday.
For TCU, the bid represents another opportunity to compete on college basketball’s biggest stage. After navigating the grind of conference play and building a résumé strong enough to earn a tournament invitation, the Horned Frogs now shift their focus to surviving and advancing.
The matchup with Ohio State presents an immediate challenge. The Buckeyes bring size, experience and a physical style that has tested opponents throughout the season. TCU, however, has leaned on its defensive pressure and transition offense all year, two traits that could play a major role once the tournament tips off.
The Horned Frogs have shown resilience throughout the season, often responding to adversity with strong stretches of play on both ends of the floor. That toughness is a key reason the program finds itself back in the NCAA Tournament field.
With the spotlight of March Madness now firmly on them, TCU will look to carry that momentum into Thursday’s opening-round contest against Ohio State.
Tipoff details and tournament seeding will set the stage, but the mission remains the same — win and keep dancing.
