CALGARY, Alberta — The Dallas Stars continue to build momentum.
Dallas pushed its franchise-record winning streak to 10 games Wednesday night with a commanding 6-1 victory over the Calgary Flames, improving to 38-14-9 on the season.
Jamie Benn, Mavrik Bourque, Nathan Bastian and Wyatt Johnston each found the back of the net as the Stars delivered another complete performance, combining timely scoring with steady defensive play.
Dallas controlled the tempo for much of the night, creating sustained offensive pressure and limiting Calgary’s chances. Once the Stars established their lead, they kept the Flames on their heels, turning the contest into another convincing win during their impressive run.
Matt Duchene played a key role in the offensive surge, recording four assists in the victory. The veteran forward now has a team-best 17 points during the streak, tallying eight goals and nine assists as Dallas continues its climb in the standings.
The Stars will try to keep the momentum rolling Friday night when they return home to host Colorado.
