WACO, Texas — Jayden Pierre delivered the night of his career when TCU needed it most.
Pierre scored a career-high 25 points and became a 1,000-point scorer as the Horned Frogs defeated Baylor on the road, completing a season sweep of the Bears for the first time since 2018.
TCU took control by living at the free-throw line, going 35-of-43, its most makes in nearly a decade. The Frogs shot 51.9 percent from the field and pulled away after a 38–38 halftime tie — the first tied halftime of their season.
With leading scorer David Punch out due to illness, Xaver Edmonds stepped up with a career-high 23 points and 10 rebounds for his second straight double-double. Brock Harding added 16 points and six assists, continuing his role as TCU’s primary facilitator.
The win marked TCU’s fourth straight victory in Waco and kept the Frogs unbeaten at Foster Pavilion. Jamie Dixon improved to 9-10 all-time against Baylor as TCU strengthened its road résumé.
