SMU Cruises to 5–0 Start With 106–60 Win Over UAPB

DALLAS — SMU kept its perfect season rolling Tuesday night, dismantling Arkansas–Pine Bluff 106–60 at Moody Coliseum. The Mustangs improved to 5–0, their best opening stretch since 2020–21, and continued their non-conference dominance at home under head coach Andy Enfield.

The Mustangs exploded for 61 second-half points, hitting the century mark for the second time this season. The 46-point victory matches the 10th-largest margin in program history.

SMU’s balance was overwhelming again, finishing with six players in double figures. Jaron Pierre Jr. led the way with 23 points, while Boopie Miller posted another double-double with 15 points and 10 assists. Jermaine O’Neal Jr. added a career-best 15, and Samet Yigitoglu scored 11, extending his streak of double-digit performances to five.

The Mustangs shared the ball at a season-best level, totaling 27 assists on 37 made shots and knocking down 12 threes. They also forced 10 steals and dominated the glass 45–32.

SMU now turns to a Friday night matchup with Arkansas State, followed by Radford on Monday before a tougher road test at Mississippi State to close out November.
