ARLINGTON, TX — Dallas Wings rookie guard JJ Quinerly underwent successful left knee surgery Thursday after suffering an injury on Aug. 20 against the Los Angeles Sparks. The procedure included an osteochondral allograft and meniscus repair. She is expected to make a full recovery ahead of the 2026 season.

Drafted 27th overall out of West Virginia, Quinerly averaged 6.5 points, 2.3 assists, and shot nearly 39% from three in 34 games. She was one of just seven third-round picks in WNBA history to average at least six points and two assists as a rookie, leading all third-rounders in three-point percentage this season.
