Bruce Bochy Steps Down as Rangers Manager

ARLINGTON, TEXAS — Bruce Bochy is officially out as manager of the Texas Rangers, ending a brief but historic stint that delivered the franchise its first World Series title.

Bochy, who returned from retirement to lead the Rangers, transformed the team into champions in just one season. His departure signals the end of a successful era and the beginning of a new search for leadership in Arlington.

The Rangers now face the challenge of building on the momentum Bochy leaves behind, with a roster still built to compete at the highest level.
