FORT WORTH — After torching SMU for 254 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday’s Iron Skillet win, TCU’s Eric McAlister has been named the Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week.
McAlister becomes the first Horned Frog to earn the honor since Max Duggan in 2022, and the first TCU receiver since Josh Doctson’s record-setting day in 2015. He fell just 13 yards short of breaking that single-game mark.
The senior wideout has also picked up Shrine Bowl and Senior Bowl invites following his breakout performance. He’s now the 12th TCU player to receive the Walter Camp weekly award.
