SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — SMU shook off a slow start and steamrolled Missouri State 28-10, scoring 28 unanswered while smothering the Bears for the final three quarters.
TJ Harden led the charge with 96 yards and two touchdowns — giving him five scores over the past two games.
Dramekco Green sparked the turnaround with his first career TD on a 12-play, 73-yard drive. RJ Maryland added a 7-yard TD grab from Kevin Jennings, extending his school record for career scores by a tight end (18).
Jennings went 24-of-36 for 281 yards and hit nine different receivers — including Jalen Cooper (5-68), Romello Brinson (4-67), and Yamir Knight (4-65).
The defense dominated:
- 0-for-12 on third downs
- 3 INTs (Davis-Robinson, Nwokobia, Nettels)
- 5 sacks, led by Jeffrey M’ba (2.5)
SMU (2-1) has now won 10 straight regular-season road games.
