ARLINGTON, TX — Texas bounced back from Monday’s shutout with a 7-3 win over Los Angeles, improving to 4-1 on their six-game homestand. The Rangers clinched the season series against the Angels for the fourth straight year, sitting at 7-5 with one game left.

Patrick Corbin dominated on the mound, tossing eight scoreless innings with three hits, one walk, and eight strikeouts—his longest scoreless outing since 2019. He also struck out Mike Trout twice, a feat only Nathan Eovaldi has matched this season.

Adolis García led the offense with a 2-for-3 night and an RBI double. Kyle Higashioka homered for the ninth time, Corey Seager added his 20th homer, and Michael Helman drove in two with a second-inning shot. Wyatt Langford extended his on-base streak to 16 games.

For the Angels, Yusei Kikuchi allowed six runs over four innings, taking the loss. Zach Neto and Jo Adell hit late homers in the ninth to finalize the 7-3 score.

Texas heads into Wednesday’s series finale riding momentum from a strong homestand.
