ARLINGTON, TEXAS — The Rangers capped their homestand in historic fashion, blasting the Angels 20-3 to clinch a second straight series win and move above .500 for the first time since mid-August.
Texas piled up 24 hits—its most in a game since 2011—and tied a franchise record with 12 players recording at least one hit. The club also launched four first-pitch homers and totaled 39 bases, its highest since 2018.
Adolis García led the charge with four hits and five RBI, including a first-inning three-run homer. Joc Pederson matched him with five RBI of his own, while Corey Seager crushed a 424-foot bomb—his hardest-hit homer of 2025.
Wyatt Langford reached base five times and extended his on-base streak to 17 games, the longest active run in MLB. Kyle Higashioka homered in back-to-back games and drove in five.
Jacob Latz gave up just two runs over 4.1 innings in the start. Texas has now won 6 of its last 8 games, while the Angels have dropped 9 of 12.
The Rangers’ bats are red-hot—and they’re making it known.
