Tyler Guyton Exits Cowboys Practice Early with Knee Issue

OXNARD, CA — Dallas Cowboys left tackle Tyler Guyton left practice early Monday after suffering a knee injury. The 2024 first-round pick was helped off the field and underwent tests that ruled out a major ligament tear but revealed a bone fracture.

This injury will likely keep Guyton sidelined for about a month, adding to the Cowboys’ growing offensive line concerns. With guard Robert Jones also dealing with a neck injury, the team faces tough decisions on how to shuffle their line.

Backup options like Asim Richards and rookie Ajani Cornelius may get more reps, and there’s talk of moving Pro Bowl guard Tyler Smith to tackle if needed. The Cowboys’ front five will be tested early as they prepare for the season opener.
