SEATTLE — The Dallas Wings flipped the script in the second half and never looked back, cruising past the Seattle Storm 87-63 Tuesday night at Climate Pledge Arena.
Arike Ogunbowale poured in 20 points on an efficient 7-of-12 shooting night, becoming the Wings’ all-time leader in field goals made. Former Storm center Li Yueru, playing in Seattle for the first time since her June trade, hauled in a game-high 10 rebounds and added eight points.
Dallas (7-17) struggled early, shooting under 40% and committing 12 turnovers in the first half, leading to a 34-point output. But after the break, it was a different story — the Wings shot 50% from the floor and locked in defensively, holding Seattle (14-10) to just 27 second-half points.
Paige Bueckers, quiet in the first half with only two points, came alive down the stretch, finishing with 14 and dishing out six assists. The Wings outscored Seattle by 26 in the second half, coasting to their largest win over the Storm since 2013.
