Cowboys Arrive in Oxnard as Training Camp Opens Tuesday

OXNARD, CALIFORNIA — The Dallas Cowboys touched down in Oxnard this afternoon, officially signaling the start of training camp. With the first practice set for Tuesday morning, players and coaches arrived ready to lay the groundwork for a season filled with championship expectations.

Cowboys 3-time All-Pro Micah Parsons will report to camp on time, despite ongoing negotiations and no long-term contract extension in place. Parsons’ presence ensures that Dallas’ defense will have its cornerstone leader from Day 1 as new defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus looks to retool the unit.

Under first-year head coach Brian Schottenheimer, Dallas enters camp aiming to revamp its offensive attack while answering key personnel questions. Battles for starting spots at running back and across the offensive line will headline camp as the team evaluates fresh faces alongside returning veterans.

With the stage set in Oxnard, the work begins Tuesday morning. For the Cowboys, the countdown to a critical 2025 season is officially underway.
