Nathan Eovaldi was sharp, tossing five shutout innings with five strikeouts to improve to 5-3 and lower his ERA to 1.75—second-lowest in franchise history through 14 starts.
Marcus Semien launched a three-run homer in the third, his 600th career extra-base hit, while Corey Seager added a solo shot in the fifth—his fourth in the last six games. It was the 14th time both have homered in the same game since 2022.
Josh Smith went 3-for-4 with his 14th leadoff hit, and Ezequiel Duran added a two-run single. Texas plated five two-out runs in the first four innings.
Baltimore managed just two hits in its ninth shutout loss of the season and first series defeat in Arlington since 2019. Tomoyuki Sugano gave up 10 hits and six runs in 4.2 innings.
Texas improves to 43-44 and has won 14 of its last 23 games.
