Rangers Fall to Orioles in 11-Inning Heartbreaker, 10-6

ARLINGTON, TX — The Rangers dropped their fourth straight extra-inning game Monday night, falling 10-6 to the Orioles in 11 innings. Despite a game-tying three-run homer from Adolis García in the 10th, Baltimore poured on four runs in the 11th to steal the series opener.

Texas has now lost three of four on the homestand and six of its last seven at Globe Life Field. The team went 13-13 in June and is 5-5 over its last 10 games.

Marcus Semien reached base all five times, including a two-run homer, while Patrick Corbin logged a season-high 110 pitches in a no-decision. García’s homer marked his fifth career blast in extras.

For Baltimore, Gunnar Henderson and Colton Cowser went deep in the 10th, and Ramón Laureano finished with four hits. The Orioles are now 10-6 on the road since late May. Game 2 is Tuesday in Arlington.
