Wings Rally Late but Fall to Fever in 94-86 Loss

DALLAS, TEXAS — It was a Friday night to remember at the American Airlines Center, where over 20,000 fans packed the arena for a sold-out showdown between the Dallas Wings and Indiana Fever. The energy was electric, the stakes were high, and the Fever emerged victorious with a 94-86 win.

Indiana came out firing early, setting the tone with a dominant first quarter that saw them lead by as many as 23 points. Their hot start carried into halftime, where they held a 13-point advantage.

But the second half was a different story.

Dallas stormed back in the third quarter, chipping away at the deficit and pulling within five points. The Wings eventually grabbed their first lead of the night in the fourth, igniting the home crowd and turning the game into a nail-biter down the stretch.

Still, late-game turnovers and missed opportunities proved costly for Dallas, who couldn’t hold off Indiana’s steady push in the final minutes.

Rookie sensation Paige Bueckers once again shined for the Wings, finishing with 27 points and 6 assists.

“Just being aggressive and reading what the game needs from me each night is key,” Bueckers said after the game.

Now 4-13 on the season, the Wings will look to regroup quickly as they return home to face the Washington Mystics on Saturday night. Tip-off is set for 7 PM CST at College Park Center Arena.
