ARLINGTON, TX — Marcus Semien played the hero Saturday night, lining a walk-off single in the 10th to lift the Rangers over the Mariners 3-2 at Globe Life Field. The win snapped a four-game home losing streak and evened the series.
Semien’s game-winner came off Seattle’s Andrés Muñoz—his second walk-off hit against him in less than a year. He’s now batting .343 over his last 26 games after a slow start to the season.
Kumar Rocker delivered a solid outing, giving up two runs over six innings in his second quality start of the year. He’s posted a 2.35 ERA in four home starts this season.
Corey Seager homered for the second straight game, a two-run shot in the third that gave Texas an early lead. It was his first homer with a runner on in 2025.
Josh Smith and Evan Carter each added hits to stay hot—Carter extended his hit streak to six games.
Seattle committed costly mistakes, allowing all three Texas runs unearned. Bryan Woo struck out nine over six innings but took a no-decision. The Mariners have now dropped three of their last four.
