PHOENIX, ARIZONA – Despite a career-high 35 points from rookie Paige Bueckers, the Dallas Wings dropped their 10th game of the season in a 93-80 loss to the Phoenix Mercury at PHX Arena.

Bueckers, returning from a four-game absence, went 13-of-19 from the field and 5-of-7 from deep, adding six rebounds and four assists. Her performance put her in elite company, joining Caitlin Clark as the only rookies with 35 points and five threes in a game.

Phoenix (7-4) used a balanced attack, led by Satou Sabally’s 20-point, 10-rebound double-double. Kitija Laksa added 14 off the bench, and the Mercury hit a season-high 15 threes.

Dallas (1-10) outrebounded Phoenix 36-28 and shot 43.3% from the field, but struggled to contain Phoenix’s perimeter shooting.

The Wings wrap up their road trip Friday against the Las Vegas Aces at 9 p.m. CT on ION.
