Cowboys OTA Update: Pickens, Fowler Swap Jerseys as Roster Settles

FRISCO, TEXAS — As the Dallas Cowboys wrapped up their final week of Organized Team Activities, a subtle jersey shuffle caught attention. Wide receiver George Pickens, a recent addition to the roster, made the switch to No. 3 after initially wearing No. 13 during early sessions.

That number had previously belonged to defensive end Dante Fowler Jr., who rejoined Dallas following a stint with the Washington Commanders. With Pickens locking in No. 3, Fowler pivoted back to No. 13—setting up an unofficial exchange between the two veterans.

With minicamp around the corner, the number changes are just one of many signs that roles and identities are beginning to solidify inside the Cowboys locker room.
