Wings Fall Short to Sky Despite Balanced Scoring Effort in Front of Sold-Out Crowd

ARLINGTON, TEXAS — The Dallas Wings suffered a 94-83 loss to the Chicago Sky on Saturday night at a packed College Park Center, marking the team’s third sellout home game of the 2025 season. With the defeat, Dallas drops to 1-6, while Chicago moves to 2-4.

Despite the outcome, the Wings displayed a balanced offensive effort with five players scoring in double figures. NaLyssa Smith led the way with a season-high 20 points and matched her career-best with three blocks, continuing to be a force in the paint.

DiJonai Carrington added 16 points along with a team-high six assists, helping facilitate the offense, while Arike Ogunbowale posted 15 points and pulled down four rebounds. Off the bench, Kaila Charles made the most of her minutes, delivering a season-best 11 points on 60% shooting. Maddy Siegrist also chipped in 11 points and grabbed a game-high eight rebounds.

Although the team showed flashes of offensive rhythm, defensive lapses and second-half struggles allowed the Sky to pull away. The Wings will look to regroup quickly as they aim to climb out of an early-season slump.
