FRISCO, TEXAS — By all accounts, Tyler Guyton has turned the page.
The Cowboys’ second-year offensive tackle, selected 29th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, endured an uneven rookie season as he adjusted to the speed and complexity of the pro game. But as the team wraps up the early phases of its 2025 offseason program, it’s clear that Guyton has taken significant steps forward — both physically and mentally.
Leaner, stronger, and noticeably more agile, the 6-foot-7 lineman has undergone a comprehensive transformation that began with a retooled diet and an intensified training regimen. The results have not gone unnoticed inside the Cowboys’ facility. Coaches and teammates alike have pointed to Guyton’s improved footwork, sharper technique, and increased stamina as signs of a player poised to make a big leap in Year 2.
While expectations for Dallas remain high, much of the focus up front is now on Guyton, who appears to have locked down a starting role and is carrying himself with newfound confidence. Wearing No. 60, he’s become one of the most talked-about players of the offseason — not just because of his potential, but because of the work he’s put in to realize it.
If his progress continues, Guyton could soon be a cornerstone on the Cowboys’ offensive line — and one of the breakout names of the 2025 NFL season.
