Arlington Martin Captures First Girls Flag Football Title at The Star

FRISCO, TEXAS — Arlington Martin High School made history over the weekend, claiming the first championship in the Dallas Cowboys High School Girls Flag Football League. The title game was held at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, home of the Dallas Cowboys.

In a season full of firsts, Arlington Martin stood out with a strong performance from start to finish. Their victory at the Cowboys’ state-of-the-art facility marked a milestone for girls’ flag football in Texas and showcased the rising talent in the sport.

The league, launched with support from the Cowboys and area schools, aims to grow opportunities for female athletes and build momentum for flag football at the high school level. With the win, Arlington Martin not only takes home a trophy—they also take their place in Texas sports history.
