Athletics Rally in Ninth Inning to Edge Rangers 4-3

SACRAMENTO, CA. — The Oakland Athletics staged a late rally, with Luis Urias scoring the game-winning run on a two-out single by Jacob Wilson in the bottom of the ninth, securing a 4-3 victory over the Texas Rangers on Thursday evening.

The Athletics’ comeback came after a tense back-and-forth contest, with Wilson’s clutch hit delivering the decisive blow.

Next up, Texas Rangers right-hander Nathan Eovaldi (1-2, 2.64 ERA) will take the mound on Friday as the Rangers face the San Francisco Giants in a road matchup.
