Marquette King Named UFL Special Teams Player of the Week

ARLINGTON, TEXAS — Arlington Renegades punter Marquette King has been named the UFL’s Special Teams Player of the Week after a standout performance in the team’s win over the Houston Roughnecks.

King tied the longest punt in UFL history with a booming 69-yarder, matching San Antonio’s Brad Wing. He averaged 46.0 yards per punt and pinned Houston inside the 20 twice, playing a key role in Arlington’s 2-0 start.

Up next, the Renegades travel to face the Birmingham Stallions on Friday, April 11 at 7 p.m. CT on FOX.
