Cowboys Trade for QB Joe Milton III from Patriots

FRISCO, TEXAS — The Dallas Cowboys are set to acquire quarterback Joe Milton III and a 2025 seventh-round pick from the New England Patriots in exchange for a 2025 fifth-round pick, according to various reports, including NFL.com. While the trade has not yet been made official, sources indicate the deal is imminent.

Milton, 25, was drafted by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He served as the third-string quarterback behind Drake Maye and Jacoby Brissett in New England. Known for his strong arm and athleticism, Milton will join the Cowboys with the potential to compete for a backup role behind Dak Prescott.
