Cowboys Crushed by Eagles in Lopsided Loss

PHILADELPHIA,PA — The Dallas Cowboys suffered a devastating 41-7 defeat against the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field. The Eagles dominated on both sides of the ball, exploiting Dallas’ weaknesses and handing the Cowboys their most lopsided loss of the season.

Cooper Rush struggled, completing 15 of 28 passes for 147 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions while under constant pressure from the Eagles’ relentless pass rush. The Cowboys’ offensive line faltered, allowing multiple sacks and failing to establish the run game.

Kenny Pickett was efficient for the Eagles, completing 10 of 15 passes for 143 yards and one touchdown. Saquon Barkley was unstoppable on the ground, rushing for 167 yards and surpassing the 2,000-yard mark for the season. DaVonta Smith shined in the passing game with six receptions for 120 yards and two touchdowns.

Rico Dowdle was a bright spot for Dallas, carrying the ball 23 times for 104 yards, providing a rare highlight in an otherwise dismal outing.

With the loss, the Cowboys fall to 7-9 on the season. They’ll close out their disappointing campaign at home against the Washington Commanders next week.
