FRISCO, TEXAS — FC Dallas will surely remember this 21st night of September, after beating LAFC 3-1 at home.

Petar Musa scored his team-leading 15th goal in league play to put Dallas on the board in the 28th minute.

Patrickson Delgado scored his fourth in league play in the 60th minute. Paul Arriola settled a ball and played it to Logan Farrington at the top of the 18-yard box, who laid it off to Delgado, who lasered it through to make it 2-0; Farrington now leads the team in assists with eight.

Only two minutes later, Farrington found the back of the net, putting it away off a pass from Ferreira, increasing the lead to three. It was Farringto’s 4th MLS goal, 6th across all competitions.

LAFC finally put one on the scoresheet, in the 86th minute. Eduard Atuesta’s shot deflected off of Delgado, past goalkeeper Maarten Paes.

LAFC extended its winless streak to five, now having won just one of their last six games in FCD territory.

FC Dallas hosts the Orlando Pride next Saturday, Sept. 28 for its fourth-to-last regular season game.

The team’s mindset heading into it? A good and focused one, according to interim head coach Peter Luccin.

He said the team needs to “take care of business.”

“We just need to win right now,” Luccin said.

Kick off will be at 7:30 p.m. at Toyota Stadium.
