Wings Fall Hard To Liberty

ARLINGTON, TEXAS — Thursday night’s matchup between the Dallas Wings and New York Liberty resulted in back to back losses for the Wings, final score, 99-67.

This now marks six consecutive losses for Dallas just after Tuesday night’s loss to New York; The Wings were eliminated from the 2024 WNBA playoffs with one of their most recent losses to the Chicago Sky (9/8, 92-77).

Arike Ogunbowale and Maddy Siegrist combined for 22 points for the Wings.

Additionally, Ogunbowale broke the Dallas Wings franchise scoring record with 3,972 points, previously set by Deanna Nolan in 2009.

For the Liberty, Sabrina lonescu finished with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists.

The Wings (9-28) will face the Seattle Storm (22-14) during their final home game at College Park Center Arena, Friday, 6:30 PM CT.
