Cowboys Designated Cooper Rush As QB 2

FRISCO, TEXAS — For the 2024 season, the Dallas Cowboys have officially designated Cooper Rush as the backup quarterback to Dak Prescott.

This decision was made in light of Trey Lance’s inconsistent performance during the preseason, which included a standout five-interception game. Despite Lance’s efforts, Rush’s solid performance secured his position as the team’s No. 2 quarterback.
